Mauricio Guillelmus made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Prospero Perico sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the game, Eusebio Rios recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mauricio Guillelmus. Eusebio Rios showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristobal Lia in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Guillelmus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Leones Futbol Club's Ove Gallberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Cortez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Berdoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ove Gallberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Nestor Cortez made a huge save. Leones Futbol Club's Mauricio Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Lia in the 59th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Confesor. Nestor Cortez made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Lázaro Berdoi sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Lázaro Berdoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Cortez was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Perico in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Guillelmus saved Leones Futbol Club from getting behind. Lobos de Carelia's Pavao Zadro was substituted for Cristobal Lia. Pavao Zadro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Guillelmus having to interfere. In the 95th minute Prospero Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
