Podador Raheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Eduardo dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Podador Raheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corumbaense F.C.'s Luís Eduardo dos Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Podador Raheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corumbaense F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Podador Raheiro got a free kick in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Corumbaense F.C.'s Luís Eduardo dos Santos got control of the ball when Podador Raheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Podador Raheiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Luís Eduardo dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 25 played minutes Club Deportes Santa Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Rahmi Toper. Podador Raheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luís Eduardo dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Podador Raheiro in the 28th minute of play. Amadeu Velloso made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vânderson Camargo immediately put the ball in play. In the 33rd minute, Eduardo Elia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vânderson Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ilkka Markkula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corumbaense F.C.'s Luís Eduardo dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Podador Raheiro in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Club Deportes Santa Cruz made a substitution. Trayko Gradinarski replaced Zhou Yao Si. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Ferreira made a kick off. Luís Eduardo dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Zhi Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Eduardo dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Zhi Chuan in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes Corumbaense F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juan Estevan Hamdorf who took care of the corner kick. Yan Zhi Chuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Eduardo dos Santos having to make a save. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juan Estevan Hamdorf in the 67th minute. After taking down the ball on Club Deportes Santa Cruz's corner Juan Estevan Hamdorf fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luís Eduardo dos Santos quite easily take care of the ball. Amadeu Velloso made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Antonio Gorri. Ilkka Markkula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Ferreira in the 74th minute of the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Eduardo dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Deportes Santa Cruz were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Corumbaense F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan Estevan Hamdorf took the corner. Hüseyin Rahmi Toper was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Gabriel do Valle got free with Ilkka Markkula in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Eduardo dos Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yan Zhi Chuan went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Club Deportes Santa Cruz booed when Corumbaense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Eduardo dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Zhi Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Zhi Chuan in the 89th minute of play forced Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Eduardo dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilkka Markkula didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Ferreira went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Corumbaense F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Deportes Santa Cruz.
