An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Boye in the 9th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes, Gonzalo Boye made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Equipo's Ismael Furman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bubu Denat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA defense, Pietro Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Verdu. The F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Verdu should have stopped the shot. Ismael Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bubu Denat, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pietro Salles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alejandro Verdu. That made the score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. Alejandro Verdu was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Pietro Salles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pietro Salles really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Equipo's Yavuz Selimhan İğdemir managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ludovít Reis in the 41 minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Equipo made a substitution. Ronaldo Cristi replaced Pietro Salles. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldo Cristi made a kick off. In the 55th minute Equipo were awarded a corner. Juliusz Cezar went to the cornerflag to take it. Emiliano Lluterio made a great header on Equipo's corner, it was just that F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA got a freekick which was hit by David Ballester. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Alejandro Verdu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Cezar in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Equipo fans cheered their team off the field, for while F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
