Kim Bolas started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Equipo getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Juliusz Cezar hit a great ball. Kim Bolas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Furman having to interfere. Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Axisa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Sliema Dragons FC from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Mike Axisa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Cristi. Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Axisa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Sliema Dragons FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Equipo booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepe Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Unai Papachronopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Axisa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Equipo's corner Jairo Zambrano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mike Axisa quite easily take care of the ball. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Bolas in the 29th minute of play. Ismael Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Bolas in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Kim Bolas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Furman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ronaldo Cristi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mike Axisa having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Axisa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Lluterio in the 54th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Equipo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sliema Dragons FC:s goal. In the 67th minute, Pietro Salles made a precise shot to the right of Mike Axisa. Sliema Dragons FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 72nd minute of the match Equipo got a corner. Sliema Dragons FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juliusz Cezar ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Equipo's corner Juliusz Cezar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mike Axisa quite easily take care of the ball. Ismael Furman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dejan Cassar went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ismael Furman came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar. But to his dismay, Dejan Cassar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The corner ended in Baran Erozan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Equipo's Ismael Furman did a great save. Ismael Furman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dejan Cassar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 91 minute of play. If Harun Elçin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Dejan Cassar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Furman. Equipo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dejan Cassar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6.
