An unexpectedly hard shot by Darnell Joyce in the 19th minute of play forced Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Zacarias Cabrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Salas Larrinzar got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 44th match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Wilkes to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zinon Potamias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Darnell Joyce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Zacarias Cabrero made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's Tor Bern sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cyprian Tipinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Azul Y Plomo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by José Macías in the 60th minute. The corner ended in Felix Torres almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Inmortales FC's Cyprian Tipinski did a great save. Azul Y Plomo's José Macías was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cyprian Tipinski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cyprian Tipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Latif Biçim, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Azul Y Plomo had won after a very even match.
