The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Azul Y Plomo from getting a goal against them. Jacobo Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiriboga Torres in the 10th minute of play. Damian Servando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacobo Urdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Latif Biçim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Eduardo Macías with Latif Biçim as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Latif Biçim in the 19th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector-Luis Arzola in the 20th minute of play. Damian Servando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zacarias Cabrero having to make a save. In the 27th minute, Hector-Luis Arzola made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Urdin. La Candela FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Damian Servando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Zacarias Cabrero made a huge save. Jacobo Urdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Latif Biçim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Servando in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Macías during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Azul Y Plomo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Macías didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Guaberto Bitxintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Urdin came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Azul Y Plomo's Eduardo Macías. But to his dismay, Eduardo Macías quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Latif Biçim to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Laurenz Goddez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Cabrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Cabrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Servando in the 54th minute of play. Jacobo Urdin made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Latif Biçim sent off a good shot on target. Azul Y Plomo's Nicolas Diniz was substituted for Salas Larrinzar. Azul Y Plomo's Teo Alberdi was substituted for Latif Biçim. After 63 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Soin. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Macías in the 64th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Damian Servando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Cabrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Servando in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Cabrero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacobo Urdin made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Hector-Luis Arzola sent off a good shot on target. Manolo Area hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes Azul Y Plomo got a freekick which was hit by Manolo Area. Zacarias Cabrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. La Candela FC's Jacobo Urdin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save La Candela FC from getting a goal against them. Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Bitxintxo in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, José Macías notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of La Candela FC's Jacobo Urdin. Jacobo Urdin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, La Candela FC's Jacobo Urdin got control of the ball when José Macías tried to sneak it across the goal line. Azul Y Plomo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
