Leszek Wielopolski came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by La Gallardeta's Rafael Haimar. But to his dismay, Rafael Haimar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Chelsea Football Club's Leszek Wielopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timos Karabelas in the 12th minute of play. When Blas Guzman came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Chelsea Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Guzman couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, La Gallardeta's Oliver Can got control of the ball when Blas Guzman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Chelsea Football Club's Blas Guzman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oliver Can. Oliver Can yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafal Jakubiak got free with Oliver Can in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kjell Alsvik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leszek Wielopolski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Bihar to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Oliver Can had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blas Guzman. The crowd rose to their feet as La Gallardeta's Filip Měchura slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leszek Wielopolski. That made the score 4-2 after 97 minutes of play. Chelsea Football Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
