A very good chance for a goal. Youri Borderie's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Qiu Zhi firmly grabbed it by the left post. Youri Borderie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Qiu Zhi made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Youri Borderie got free with Qiu Zhi in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Normando Fiúza in the 20th minute of play forced U.S.Normande's goalkeeper Mikael Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SILMONT's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Youri Borderie 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After a rather tough play, SILMONT's Normando Fiúza got a free kick in the 26th minute. The audience was convinced that Adriano Guimarães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikael Damm was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Mikael Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titouan Canal in the 32nd minute of play. Qiu Zhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurélien Mussard, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Normando Fiúza to make the kick off. Normando Fiúza might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikael Damm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Normando Fiúza ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Normando Fiúza got free with Mikael Damm in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute Thomas Albaret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Titouan Canal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mikael Damm. That made the score 1-2 in the 56 minute of play. The supporters of U.S.Normande booed when SILMONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mai Zhen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Normando Fiúza could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Mikael Damm however easily saved by the left post. If Normando Fiúza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Titouan Canal notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of U.S.Normande's Mikael Damm. Mikael Damm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Léopold Fraval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, João Carlos Schmidt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SILMONT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U.S.Normande the free kick. In the 85th match minute, SILMONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aymerick Tourrette in the 86th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Qiu Zhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SILMONT had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
