Fabien Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léopold Fraval in the 2nd minute of the match. Fabien Nunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurélien Mussard went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute Youri Borderie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabien Nunes came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by U.S.Normande's Youri Borderie. But to his dismay, Youri Borderie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Ground Control getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Charlie Wiltord hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Youri Borderie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ground Control booed when U.S.Normande was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Youri Borderie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Amine Philibert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ground Control's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amine Philibert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Borderie in the 29th minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Fabien Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Youri Borderie scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabien Nunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ground Control's Fabien Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri Borderie in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, U.S.Normande's Youri Borderie got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Karakevych to make the kick off. U.S.Normande's Mikael Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Karakevych in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Anton Karakevych got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of U.S.Normande booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédéric Courtial didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Aurélien Mussard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabien Nunes. The goal made the score 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Karakevych in the 67th minute of play forced U.S.Normande's goalkeeper Mikael Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Léopold Fraval fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U.S.Normande's protests and gave Léopold Fraval a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes U.S.Normande got a freekick which was hit by Léopold Fraval. In the 74th minute, Ground Control's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Léopold Fraval fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 75 minutes into the match, Ground Control's Anton Karakevych sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikael Damm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 77 minutes U.S.Normande's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Batiste Lassalle who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Anton Karakevych's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikael Damm was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Youri Borderie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Fabien Nunes made a huge save. Ground Control's Anton Karakevych got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Youri Borderie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amine Philibert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. U.S.Normande played a much better game than Ground Control and deserved their victory. The Ground Control players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
