Guy Durant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amine Philibert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Guy Durant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lyon 69ers's Malik Boizard got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of Lyon 69ers booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batiste Lassalle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malik Boizard kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Ground Control's Fabien Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolphe Sol in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Lyon 69ers booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Wiltord didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Guy Durant managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Ground Control's Amine Philibert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 34th minute Pascal Trefzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Durant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabien Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonin Lory in the 35th minute of the match. Fabien Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Beaune, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Anatol Hönes made the kick off in the second half. Charlie Wiltord kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Tom Beaune kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Fabien Nunes was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Anatol Hönes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anatol Hönes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 58 minutes into the game, Lyon 69ers's Antonin Lory nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabien Nunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Antonin Lory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Guy Durant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amine Philibert, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Lyon 69ers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Beaune was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Amine Philibert notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Lyon 69ers's Guy Durant. Guy Durant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's Tom Beaune sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabien Nunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, Ground Control was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Karakevych to maneuver through the defense. Slaveyko Grúbchev missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 95 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Fabien Nunes right hand side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
