In the 3rd minute SILMONT were awarded a corner. Titouan Canal went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Titouan Canal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but U.S.Normande's Mikael Damm did a great save. In the 17th match minute, U.S.Normande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Custermans to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Youri Borderie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Qiu Zhi. SILMONT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Youri Borderie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 27 minutes in the game, Aurélien Mussard dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Mikael Damm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. U.S.Normande's Mikael Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Albaret in the 31st minute of play. Mikael Damm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Albaret, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Borderie in the 37th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Qiu Zhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Carlos Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mikael Damm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goal looked a bit too open when Léopold Fraval came free, but Qiu Zhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, U.S.Normande's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Albaret came free, but Mikael Damm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Borderie in the 47th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Qiu Zhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Normando Fiúza made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, U.S.Normande's Aurélien Mussard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Qiu Zhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Mikael Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Albaret in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Titouan Canal in the 76th minute of play forced U.S.Normande's goalkeeper Mikael Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikael Damm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Normando Fiúza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Thomas Albaret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Youri Borderie got free with Qiu Zhi in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mikael Damm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Guimarães in the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in U.S.Normande's zone, Thomas Albaret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Damm came out of the goal and Thomas Albaret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Albaret recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikael Damm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Albaret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SILMONT supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching U.S.Normande's performance. The match ended with a win for U.S.Normande.
