After a defensive mix-up in Polly Magoo Juniors's zone, J.P. Kapar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markus Fågel came out of the goal and J.P. Kapar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Gösta Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Léon Cailleaux in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Markus Fågel saved Polly Magoo Juniors from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Stålman in the 25th minute of play forced Roncourt's goalkeeper Brian Fumey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octave Debarre, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léon Cailleaux in the 41st minute of play. Brian Fumey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Polly Magoo Juniors were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isak Stålman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Léon Cailleaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Fågel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from J.P. Kapar in the 53rd minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Jean-Marc Kazmierczak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Erik Tunberg got free with Brian Fumey in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Marc Kazmierczak came free, but Markus Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markus Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from J.P. Kapar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Jean-Marc Kazmierczak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Fågel. Polly Magoo Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Marc Kazmierczak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Brian Fumey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 92nd minute of the match. Thierry Lhermite kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
