Brian Fumey made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Roch Felenak sent off a good shot on target. 5 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's Roch Felenak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brian Fumey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Marc Kazmierczak came free, but Jolan Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, La Pointe Courte's Roch Felenak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brian Fumey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Roch Felenak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling J.P. Kapar in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jolan Galindo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Halit Fahri Falcıoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Halit Fahri Falcıoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jolan Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from J.P. Kapar, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jolan Galindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Brian Fumey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Prestin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Halit Fahri Falcıoğlu put in a rough tackle. 32 minutes into the game, one of La Pointe Courte:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. La Pointe Courte:s Jolan Galindo showed great skill when he stopped Jean-Marc Kazmierczak:s penalty. J.P. Kapar took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jolan Galindo. Jolan Galindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Brian Fumey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Prestin in the 41st minute of play. Ivan Lidström made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dan Black. Brian Fumey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Felenak in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Prestin in the 54th minute of play forced Roncourt's goalkeeper Brian Fumey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's goal looked a bit too open when J.P. Kapar came free, but Jolan Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roncourt's Octave Debarre managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dan Black in the 57 minute of the game. In the 59th minute Gianluca Prestin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Fumey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Fumey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alain Girault in the 60th minute of the match. Roncourt's Brian Fumey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Felenak in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, J.P. Kapar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roncourt's supporters rose to their feet, but J.P. Kapar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jolan Galindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Pointe Courte's Yves Leite was substituted for Roch Felenak. La Pointe Courte's Pawel Harendarski was substituted for Alejo Alonso. Roncourt's Léon Cailleaux was substituted for Jean-Marc Kazmierczak. Brian Fumey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Prestin in the 73rd minute of the match. With a little luck, La Pointe Courte's Jolan Galindo got control of the ball when Léon Cailleaux tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roncourt's Brian Fumey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Leite in the 79th minute of play. After 83 played minutes Roncourt got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Pomelov. In the 90th minute Gianluca Prestin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Fumey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Fumey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Thellier in the 93rd minute of play. Ivan Lidström got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Yves Leite. Brian Fumey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
