An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 17th minute of play forced LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goalkeeper Cosimo Mascia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noureddine Sanchis took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ludomil Kajdasz. Ludomil Kajdasz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ludomil Kajdasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noureddine Sanchis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Noureddine Gerbeau made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Holger Duusgaard however managed to control. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Noureddine Sanchis sped through Herblay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ludomil Kajdasz. Cosimo Mascia came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Herblay's Norbert Cadart. But to his dismay, Norbert Cadart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some careless play in the Herblay defense, Noureddine Sanchis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludomil Kajdasz. The Herblay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludomil Kajdasz should have stopped the shot. Cosimo Mascia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Dagorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosimo Mascia made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Antonin Dagorne sent off a good shot on target. Cosimo Mascia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylvain Missonnier, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Herblay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitri Bougault was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Mala La Motte was substituted for Milan Froněk. Noureddine Sanchis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
