In the 5th match minute, Valette Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armand Plaza to maneuver through the defense. Guy Jourdan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adrien Tanneau. Valette Stars's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adrien Tanneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustin Hamet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelson Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrien Tanneau saved Valette Stars from getting behind. The throw-in from Amadeu Martins in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tours Football Club's Romulo Urko. 17 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Faustin Hamet came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Valette Stars defense, Arif Çelebi Ergener kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrien Tanneau. The Valette Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrien Tanneau should have stopped the shot. After 24 played minutes Tours Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Aziz Koehler. In the 26th minute Guillaume Chaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 28th minute of play forced Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Lech Blochowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Valette Stars getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Amadeu Martins hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Arif Çelebi Ergener quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Guy Jourdan was slow to take the kick. During this time Tours Football Club's players had a chance to rest. Guy Jourdan made a great header on Tours Football Club's corner, it was just that Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 36th match minute, Valette Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Martins to maneuver through the defense. Lech Blochowiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 40th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 51st minute of play. Tours Football Club were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Valette Stars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guy Jourdan took the corner. After a rather tough play, Tours Football Club's Arif Çelebi Ergener got a free kick in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrien Tanneau saved Valette Stars from getting behind. Arif Çelebi Ergener blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrien Tanneau having to make a save. In the 65th minute of the match, Arif Çelebi Ergener tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adrien Tanneau saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 67th minute Arif Çelebi Ergener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrien Tanneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
