After 5 minutes of play, Royal PSG's Edoardo Filippini made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Csongor Kun was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8 minutes into the match, Chaponnay FC's goalkeeper Csongor Kun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Torres. In the 13th minute, Edoardo Filippini fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Csongor Kun, passed just outside the right post. In the 15th match minute, Chaponnay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanguy Caudrelier to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Fred Torres made a precise shot to the right of Csongor Kun. Chaponnay FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 20th minute Edoardo Filippini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Csongor Kun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chaponnay FC's zone, Fred Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Csongor Kun came out of the goal and Fred Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Edoardo Filippini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Csongor Kun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Bétourne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evan Le Moullec in the 34th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's goal looked a bit too open when Evan Le Moullec came free, but Tristan Bétourne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Edoardo Filippini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal PSG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Filippini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Christophe Dureuil threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chaponnay FC's Tanguy Caudrelier quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fred Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Csongor Kun having to interfere. Edoardo Filippini struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Csongor Kun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal PSG. After 44 minutes of play, Royal PSG's Fred Torres made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Csongor Kun was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel Izard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Royal PSG's Samuel Izard got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Royal PSG's Fred Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Royal PSG's Tristan Bétourne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Royal PSG from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Chaponnay FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Eduart Rrustemi hit a great ball. Csongor Kun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 75 minutes, Samuel Izard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal PSG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Izard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Samuel Izard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Csongor Kun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chaponnay FC made a substitution. Charly Boisson replaced Evan Le Moullec. The supporters of Royal PSG booed when Chaponnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charly Boisson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Samuel Izard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Csongor Kun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Andreu made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Royal PSG's Ferhat Özsan. Csongor Kun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Izard in the 91st minute of the match. Samuel Izard took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Csongor Kun. Csongor Kun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Royal PSG had played much better football throughout.
