Liu Yong Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Cina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Walczak in the 18th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Jacek Walczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juraj Múdry in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Decuseară didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otávio Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Liu Yong Yong made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Moise Vlădean sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by OROTINENSE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. During this time DINAMO's players had a chance to rest. 30 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Stoiculescu came free, but Liu Yong Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Liu Yong Yong successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ysmael Marfil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Songurhan Mete went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of DINAMO booed when OROTINENSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruhi Uluöz didn't get a good kick on the ball. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Talamanca in the 40th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

OROTINENSE's Songurhan Mete got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Moise Vlădean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Liu Yong Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Cina in the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in OROTINENSE's zone, Moise Vlădean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liu Yong Yong came out of the goal and Moise Vlădean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liu Yong Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ryszard Borcz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. OROTINENSE's Iordache Opincaru was substituted for Songurhan Mete. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Ryszard Borcz got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by DINAMO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Talamanca was slow to take the kick. During this time OROTINENSE's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in David Talamanca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil did a great save. 78 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Filipoiu came free, but Liu Yong Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led OROTINENSE's David Talamanca to fire away a dangerous shot which Ysmael Marfil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Iordache Opincarus short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Ysmael Marfil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 89 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iordache Opincaru. After a defensive mix-up in OROTINENSE's zone, Claudio Cina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liu Yong Yong came out of the goal and Claudio Cina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ysmael Marfil was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Jacek Walczak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacek Walczak really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. OROTINENSE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
