The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Lea Papá defense, Ricky Koppens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hong Qing. The Club Atlético Lea Papá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hong Qing should have stopped the shot. After taking down the ball on Club Deportivo Águila's corner Dong Hui Yue fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hong Qing quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Jehlička in the 11th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Alvar Ponce got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Donose in the 16th minute of play. Gustavo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvar Ponce in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Alvar Ponce made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Guimarães. Club Deportivo Águila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Michal Jehlička's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lea Papá's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Diniz came free, but Hong Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Club Atlético Lea Papá players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Club Deportivo Águila from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
