Pedro Villalaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Santos in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s Pedro Villalaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio Luiz Goiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Villalaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Luiz Goiano having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Real Madrid de Guatemala's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Villalaz came free, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Gil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano made a huge save. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Madrid de Guatemala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dé Santos was slow to take the kick. During this time ORION F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Dadhyan Rudrappa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Sifon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Luiz Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Villalaz's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Shawn Carrillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

ORION F.C.'s Felipe Arauz was substituted for Cesar Gil. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Villalaz to strike the kick off in the second half. When Shawn Carrillo fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madrid de Guatemala's protests and gave Shawn Carrillo a yellow card for diving instead. ORION F.C.'s Dadhyan Rudrappa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save ORION F.C. from getting a goal against them. Nicolás Guerrero, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 90th minute, Pedro Villalaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sílvio Luiz Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Villalaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Real Madrid de Guatemala players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ORION F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
