Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Ruiz in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Edvin Jansson got free with Frank Mora in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Máximo Perrone hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Roberto Trotta got a free kick in the 12th minute. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th play minute Sven-Edvin Jansson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Frank Mora. 1-0. After some careless play in the GuateFortín defense, Hector Ruiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nery Pumpido. The GuateFortín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nery Pumpido should have stopped the shot. When GuateFortín's Zico Zellier in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SAPRIMECKBEL's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of SAPRIMECKBEL booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Mora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 37th minute. Sven-Edvin Jansson came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Frank Mora could save by the left post. When SAPRIMECKBEL's Jaime Quiros in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GuateFortín's goalie prevented a goal. 46 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Quiros came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Ruiz to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Thierry Henry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Mora narrowly saved just below the crossbar. GuateFortín were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after SAPRIMECKBEL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angel Alvarenga took the corner. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Quiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Mora came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Angel Alvarenga. But to his dismay, Angel Alvarenga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. GuateFortín's Ivan Lozano was substituted for Roberto Trotta. Frank Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thierry Henry in the 67th minute of play. Thierry Henry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Mora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Villanueva in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Thierry Henry notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of SAPRIMECKBEL's Frank Mora. Frank Mora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GuateFortín's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
