The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jacek Walczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Frank Mora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SAPRIMECKBEL booed when OROTINENSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songurhan Mete didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hector Ruiz came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the SAPRIMECKBEL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Ruiz couldn't finish the play. After 8 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Parvan Hadzhipetkov. Hector Ruiz struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Liu Yong Yong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAPRIMECKBEL. Liu Yong Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liu Yong Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Larra in the 17th minute of the match. Hector Ruiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liu Yong Yong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Ruiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Jaime Quiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Liu Yong Yong made a huge save. After 33 minutes, Jaime Quiros made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute, David Talamanca made a precise shot to the right of Frank Mora. SAPRIMECKBEL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 43 minutes into the game, Juraj Múdry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OROTINENSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAPRIMECKBEL the free kick. After 45 minutes of play, OROTINENSE's Songurhan Mete made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Mora was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half OROTINENSE were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Talamanca was the one to do the kick off. Jacek Walczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. OROTINENSE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesar Larra ran over to the corner to take the kick. Songurhan Mete hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, SAPRIMECKBEL's Hector Ruiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Liu Yong Yong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, SAPRIMECKBEL's goal looked a bit too open when David Talamanca came free, but Frank Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacek Walczak's late challenge caught a SAPRIMECKBEL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacek Walczak helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SAPRIMECKBEL booed when OROTINENSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Ruiz in the 90th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Hector Ruiz notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong. Liu Yong Yong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
