The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Dário Diniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Oscar Alfaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 6 minutes, Herminio Florinio made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SAPRIMECKBEL's Oscar Alfaro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. SAPRIMECKBEL's Oscar Alfaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Diniz in the 9th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Dário Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Alfaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 17th minute, Dário Diniz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo Águila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 21st minute Herminio Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Alfaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Águila's Miguel Gallegos made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Alfaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oscar Alfaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Gallegos in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bennie Nuñez got free with Gustavo Guimarães in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Ruiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Quiros got free with Gustavo Guimarães in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Hector Ruiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Dário Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Alfaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Ricky Koppens took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Alfaro. Oscar Alfaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, SAPRIMECKBEL's goalkeeper Oscar Alfaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Florinio. Herminio Florinio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Oscar Alfaro made a huge save. Herminio Florinio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 58th playminute. Gustavo Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Ruiz in the 67th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SAPRIMECKBEL defense, Dário Diniz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Alfaro. The SAPRIMECKBEL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Alfaro should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennie Nuñez in the 82nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes Club Deportivo Águila got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Oporto. When Cesar Larra came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SAPRIMECKBEL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Larra couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Angel Velis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oscar Alfaro. Angel Velis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. When the final whistle sounded Club Deportivo Águila left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SAPRIMECKBEL.
