The referee showed Julio Hess the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Hess to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Jose Field shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Bucket saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Travis Cuevas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dráuzio Barral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Preston Esposito. That made the score 2-1 in the 26 minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match, Dráuzio Barral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Preston Esposito saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Jose Field had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dráuzio Barral was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rocco Espinosa got free with Charlie Bucket in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Preston Esposito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dráuzio Barral went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Preston Esposito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Hess in the 56th minute of the match. Preston Esposito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO defense, Dráuzio Barral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Preston Esposito. The DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Preston Esposito should have stopped the shot. Vernon Lloyd made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marquis Hawthorne however managed to control. 76 minutes into the game, Julio Hess cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Preston Esposito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jose Field received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Charlie Bucket tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 minutes of play, Brooklyn SC's Douglas Pace made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Preston Esposito was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Barral came free, but Preston Esposito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Preston Esposito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Hess went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Dráuzio Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Preston Esposito was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Hess in the 94th minute of play forced DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Preston Esposito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brooklyn SC had played much better football throughout.
