Trenton Call took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Lopez came free, but Trenton Call reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raymundo Kirkland hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Trenton Call showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Lopez in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymundo Kirkland in the 30th minute of play forced El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Jude Vang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's Domingo Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trenton Call narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Black Knights FC defense, Domingo Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trenton Call. The Black Knights FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trenton Call should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Lopez came free, but Trenton Call reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Black Knights FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Canalla de Chicago the free kick. Trenton Call showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Raymundo Kirkland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Vang having to interfere. Dan Riggs kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raymundo Kirkland to make the kick off. When Curtis Daniel fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Canalla de Chicago's protests and gave Curtis Daniel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curtis Daniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Raymundo Kirkland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After taking down the ball on El Canalla de Chicago's corner Domingo Lopez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Trenton Call quite easily take care of the ball. The Black Knights FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trenton Call should have stopped the shot. El Canalla de Chicago were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Black Knights FC for a fine match.
