Darell Frey started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dexter Ashley during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ForestFire booed when Stowe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dexter Ashley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Orlando Hrabina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeffrey Yoshioka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dwayne Grover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reed Molina having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Nichols in the 16th minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Hrabina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeffrey Yoshioka's late challenge caught a Stowe City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeffrey Yoshioka helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Stowe City booed when ForestFire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stowe City's Hugo Orlando Hrabina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lane Martinez in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th play minute Darell Frey came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Reed Molina. 1-0. 39 minutes into the game, Lane Martinez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hugo Orlando Hrabina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cason Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lamar Knapp made a kick off. Hugo Orlando Hrabina was out of position in the 50 minute of play, and Duncan Nichols capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Duncan Nichols really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 58th minute, Cason Rojas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Orlando Hrabina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamar Knapp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Stowe City booed when ForestFire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Amos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Eddy Amos. In the 67th minute, Curt Littlejohn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reed Molina was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 75 played minutes Duncan Nichols rounded Stowe City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duncan Nichols got free with Hugo Orlando Hrabina in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Edgardo Courtney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phil Greene hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cason Rojas struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Reed Molina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stowe City. Stowe City's Hugo Orlando Hrabina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamar Knapp in the 89th minute of play. The corner ended in Eddy Amos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stowe City's Hugo Orlando Hrabina did a great save. Lamar Knapp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ForestFire players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
