Śląsk Bytom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastian Fleischer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Delmar Berenguer struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Piotr Gecionis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hahay. Piotr Gecionis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Berenguer went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Piotr Gecionis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 29th minute, Wawrzyniec Lewandowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piotr Gecionis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Śląsk Bytom's Piotr Gecionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Berenguer in the 32nd minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Berenguer came free, but Piotr Gecionis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aigeus Milionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Betonowy in the 35th minute of play. Roch Betonowy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wawrzyniec Lewandowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Gecionis having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wawrzyniec Lewandowski made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Delmar Berenguer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hahay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Berenguer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Śląsk Bytom defense, Delmar Berenguer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Piotr Gecionis. The Śląsk Bytom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Piotr Gecionis should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute Delmar Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Gecionis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Śląsk Bytom's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Fleischer was slow to take the kick. During this time Hahay's players had a chance to rest. In the 63rd minute Wawrzyniec Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Gecionis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Berenguer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. But to his dismay, Wawrzyniec Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 79th minute Delmar Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Gecionis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
