When Zbyszko Napierkowski fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Śląsk Bytom's protests and gave Zbyszko Napierkowski a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Śląsk Bytom's Zbyszko Napierkowski got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Roch Betonowy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wit Kasperowicz came out and tried to block the shot, but Roch Betonowy slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Wit Kasperowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maciek Hana in the 10th minute. Wit Kasperowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciek Hana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbyszko Napierkowski hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Chludzinski came free, but Wit Kasperowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wit Kasperowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciek Hana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krzysztof Maciejewski made a great header on Śląsk Bytom's corner, it was just that KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz managed to reach the ball for a save. Roch Betonowy charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roch Betonowy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wit Kasperowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Napoleon Wietrzychowski's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Piotr Gecionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariasz Niedbalski in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Śląsk Bytom's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Boruc Kochniarczyk was slow to take the kick. During this time KS LEW Chorzów's players had a chance to rest. Boruc Kochniarczyk made a great header on KS LEW Chorzów's corner, it was just that Śląsk Bytom's Piotr Gecionis managed to reach the ball for a save. 34 minutes into the game, Krzysztof Maciejewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wit Kasperowicz. Krzysztof Maciejewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 37 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Wit Kasperowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maciek Hana. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS LEW Chorzów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner led Śląsk Bytom's Roch Betonowy to fire away a dangerous shot which Wit Kasperowicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 46th minute, Maciek Hana made a precise shot to the right of Wit Kasperowicz. KS LEW Chorzów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.

The wind increased when Napoleon Wietrzychowski made the kick off in the second half. Wit Kasperowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Maciejewski in the 53rd minute of play. Wit Kasperowicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Napoleon Wietrzychowski went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Edward Zembrzuski hit a great ball. Śląsk Bytom's Maciej Maciejewski was substituted for Zdzislaw Jerzyk. Zachariasz Niedbalski hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Zachary Ruszkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match Krzysztof Maciejewski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wit Kasperowicz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Krzysztof Maciejewski put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wit Kasperowicz.
