Waldemar Zjawin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Domala in the 5th minute of the match. Waldemar Zjawin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Jaraczewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Jaraczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Zjawin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Domala in the 19th minute of play forced FC LongeR's goalkeeper Waldemar Zjawin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after FC LongeR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafal Olender took the corner. The corner ended in Tomasz Wisniewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC LongeR's Waldemar Zjawin did a great save. Waldemar Zjawin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Kiewra, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 28th match minute, FC LongeR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Kluczyk to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Zjawin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Wisniewski came free, but Waldemar Zjawin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Mieszko Majusiak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ from getting a goal against them. Mieszko Majusiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Czeszyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Robert Imbor got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute of the match Wit Gaszynski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mieszko Majusiak skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lech Skarpiak to make the kick off. Mieszko Majusiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Robak in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Konrad Cieliczka seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Konrad Cieliczka the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Konrad Cieliczka had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ! Mieszko Majusiak had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Wit Gaszynski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Wit Gaszynski did an outstanding performance 56 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Mieszko Majusiak in the goal. After 58 played minutes FC LongeR got a freekick which was hit by Wit Gaszynski. Tomasz Wisniewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Waldemar Zjawin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Jaraczewski got free with Waldemar Zjawin in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC LongeR's Waldemar Zjawin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Gdowik in the 64th minute of play. Waldemar Zjawin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Gdowik, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Jan Jaraczewski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Waldemar Zjawin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bartosz Kiewra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Waldemar Zjawin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Bartosz Kiewra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Waldemar Zjawin. The goal made the score 1-3. Jan Jaraczewskis short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Waldemar Zjawin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mieszko Majusiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Czech in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Tomasz Wisniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomasz Wisniewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waldemar Zjawin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomasz Wisniewski ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ booed when FC LongeR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wit Gaszynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Olender came free, but Waldemar Zjawin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC LongeR's Waldemar Zjawin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Gdowik in the 88th minute of play. Tomasz Wisniewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Waldemar Zjawin made a huge save. With a little luck, FC LongeR's Waldemar Zjawin got control of the ball when Tomasz Wisniewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan Jaraczewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
