Clemente Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Matanza and Steelers's César Lucas got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Lamonica came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matanza and Steelers's Jimmy Örtendal got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Davi Lamonica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Renan Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Lamonica in the 24th minute of play. Davi Lamonica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Renan Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés de Azevedo came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmondo Aloisi kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The nice shot from Ulrico Herzog in the 31stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Fabrício Negri had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Matanza and Steelers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jimmy Örtendal in the 33rd minute. The corner led to Matanza and Steelers's Gonza Victoria getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonza Victoria in the 33rd minute of play. Renan Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Lamonica, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés de Azevedo in the 41st minute of play. Davi Lamonica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Tello might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabrício Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Tello ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Davi Lamonica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Davi Lamonica's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Mendes was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 53 played minutes Dinamo Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Moisés de Azevedo. The supporters of Matanza and Steelers booed when Dinamo Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Lamonica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmy Örtendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wiliam Peixoto scored 1-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrício Negri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Davi Lamonica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan Mendes having to make a save. Clemente Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dinamo Colorado's Cezary Laba was substituted for Dorian Gerber. The Matanza and Steelers support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
