Mauro Eliazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Afonso Cardozo took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Eliazar. Mauro Eliazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mauro Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei Guang Xing in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Juventudes Libertárias getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Leonel Faria hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Afonso Cardozo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Eliazar skillfully saved the ball. 20 minutes into the game, MONTANHA's Afonso Cardozo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro Eliazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 23rd minute of the match MONTANHA got a corner. Juventudes Libertárias's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afonso Cardozo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Nilton Montenegro advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-4 in the 23rd minute. A collision led to MONTANHA getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gonçalo Matos hit a great ball. Juventudes Libertárias's Mauro Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Cardozo in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, MONTANHA's Afonso Cardozo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro Eliazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Andres van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Simão in the 35th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Yu Ying Yang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventudes Libertárias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MONTANHA the free kick. After 35 played minutes Juventudes Libertárias got a freekick which was hit by Yu Ying Yang. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 41st minute of play forced Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Mauro Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Wei Guang Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Cardozo took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Eliazar. Mauro Eliazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wei Guang Xing to make the kick off. Afonso Cardozo took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Eliazar. Mauro Eliazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Afonso Cardozo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Mauro Eliazar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juventudes Libertárias's Mauro Eliazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Juventudes Libertárias from getting a goal against them. Afonso Cardozo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauro Eliazar came out and tried to block the shot, but Afonso Cardozo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 62nd minute. Juventudes Libertárias's Kauan Silveira was substituted for Gilson Meirelles. In the 67th minute, Agostinho Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Wei Guang Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Eliazar made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Czeslaw Walec sent off a good shot on target. Andres van der Sar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agostinho Almeida's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Mauro Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wei Guang Xing in the 77th minute of play. Mauro Eliazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Walec in the 83rd minute of play forced Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Mauro Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Eliazar made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Afonso Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Afonso Cardozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Eliazar. Juventudes Libertárias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Cardozo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. After some careless play in the Juventudes Libertárias defense, Wei Guang Xing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Eliazar. The Juventudes Libertárias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Eliazar should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Juventudes Libertárias's Mauro Eliazar got control of the ball when Afonso Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. MONTANHA played a much better game than Juventudes Libertárias and deserved their victory. The Juventudes Libertárias players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
