The Juventudes Libertárias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Eliazar should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute Celedonio Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Borges in the 13th minute of play forced Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Mauro Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josué Pinheiro in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Eliazar saved Juventudes Libertárias from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Eliazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ademir Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Borges came free, but Mauro Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Florinio in the 69th minute of the match. The tension between the Juventudes Libertárias and the Matungo Gaúcho players grew even worse after the yellow card. 73 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Florinio came free, but Mauro Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Almeida came free, but Ademir Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juventudes Libertárias's Mauro Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Pinheiro in the 79th minute of play. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Josué Pinheiro scored 0-9 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Eliazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matungo Gaúcho's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
