Melchor Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Arnoldo Esiquio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Melchor Markel made a huge save. In the 66th minute of the game, Eduardo Inautzi landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Julián Álvarez fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Boca Juniors's protests and gave Julián Álvarez a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Esiquio got free with Melchor Markel in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Monte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Martxot in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, C.A. Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Celipe to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Esiquio got free with Melchor Markel in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melchor Markel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicanor Lucila in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carolo Porfirio during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to 【E ➣13 De diciembre 2023 getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Carolo Porfirio hit a great ball. Melchor Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Vito in the 90th minute of play. Hector Vito kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Gustavo Martxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A. Boca Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
