No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hector Vito made the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Lucila received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baldomiro Mannuel came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicanor Lucila slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 53rd minute. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robustiano Ramond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Robustiano Ramond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
