A collision led to ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ruben Irrintzi hit a great ball. Norberto Mero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Cristos, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Norberto Mero came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caballeritos del Baile's Florentino Veronica. But to his dismay, Florentino Veronica quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Norberto Mero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arsenio Cristos made a kick off. If Leandro Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Gaufred in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Norberto Mero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Norberto Mero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Rodrigo Pes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Cesario in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Silvio Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Pes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Caballeritos del Baile's Arsenio Cristos got a free kick in the 77th minute. Arsenio Cristos hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Norberto Mero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Cristos in the 81st minute of the match. Maximiliano Iaki might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Mero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Iaki ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodrigo Pes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Cesario's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Arsenio Cristos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caballeritos del Baile's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Cristos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Mero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th match minute, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Bastian to maneuver through the defense. Caballeritos del Baile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
