An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Cai in the 3rd minute of play forced ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Norberto Mero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Christian Cai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Norberto Mero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 12 minutes, Marcelo Ignado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eibar 09-12-18 and the ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Marcelo Ignado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Silvio Cesario got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvio Cesario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justino Abadia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 24 played minutes ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Ellande. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Elpidio Efren sped through ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norberto Mero. After having played for 33 minutes, Christian Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eibar 09-12-18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Cai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, one of ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Rutenio during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes, Eibar 09-12-18's Esteban Marz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Norberto Mero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eibar 09-12-18 reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 52nd minute Christian Cai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Eyague during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Christian Cai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcelino Nastasio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Marcelo Ignado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. made a substitution. Ruben Irrintzi replaced Dionisio Ubendu. After a rather tough play, Eibar 09-12-18's Marcelo Ignado got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Manuel Loreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eibar 09-12-18 the free kick. After 71 played minutes ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Loreto. Christian Cai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Mero having to interfere. Constantino Rutenio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justino Abadia having to make a save. Benjamin Pietro kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Marz during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Eibar 09-12-18 getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Esteban Marz hit a great ball. Justino Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Cesario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justino Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Nastasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Eibar 09-12-18's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
