Cristian Duarte started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Wanderson Mello got a free kick in the 25th minute. Diego de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Morro Grande E.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugênio da Costa in the 33rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Deivid Trevisan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ismael Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Isidor in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by César Vinhas during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, César Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Carolo Isidor got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Benicio Senen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carolo Isidor was the one to do the kick off. Morro Grande E.C's Ismael Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Isidor in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Maia came free, but Benicio Senen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Teyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ismael Chaves made a huge save. After 63 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Diego de Azevedo. Ciro Lando struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ismael Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC FUSION. Cristian Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 74 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio da Costa. In the 77th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis Motta to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Chaves made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Carolo Isidor sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Isidor came free, but Ismael Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Senen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Duarte in the 89th minute of play. Ismael Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Lando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Tepedino charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Tepedino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Reynaldo Tepedino hit a great ball. Morro Grande E.C's Ismael Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Isidor in the 96th minute of play.
