After a rather tough play, CAI NEUQUEN's Ambrosio Felipo got a free kick in the 6th minute. 12 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Nardo came free, but Dionisio Cordaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodosio Bermund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dionisio Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arnoldo Totakoxe came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the CAI NEUQUEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Totakoxe couldn't finish the play. Americo Gaitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Cristofor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Teodosio Bermund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Bermund, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Mario Costante notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Stellenbosch's Americo Gaitano. Americo Gaitano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fermin Aznar hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Dionisio Cordaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosme Lucian went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Costante came free, but Dionisio Cordaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CAI NEUQUEN's Dionisio Cordaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Garin in the 44th minute of play. After some careless play in the Stellenbosch defense, Arnoldo Totakoxe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Gaitano. The Stellenbosch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Gaitano should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Totakoxe was the one to do the kick off. Arnoldo Totakoxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iker Garin got free with Dionisio Cordaro in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Garin came free, but Dionisio Cordaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes CAI NEUQUEN got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Felipo. In the 80th minute, Teodosio Bermund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stellenbosch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a rather tough play, CAI NEUQUEN's Honorato Eutropio got a free kick in the 85th minute. A collision led to Stellenbosch getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Javier Nardo hit a great ball. Dionisio Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Costante, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Dionisio Cordaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Garcia in the 94th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
