The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abel Cugat's late challenge caught a Characate FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Cugat helped the player get up and apologised. Abel Cugat kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Matias Boniel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paolo Palos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaspar Gora took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paolo Palos. Paolo Palos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Gaspar Gora hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Paolo Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Pacorro in the 15th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Oflador FC 2003 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Gonzo to maneuver through the defense. Matias Boniel might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Palos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Boniel ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matias Boniel during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Oflador FC 2003 defense, Gaspar Gora kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paolo Palos. The Oflador FC 2003 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Palos should have stopped the shot. Celestino Iratze's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Paolo Palos on his right side and into the goal. 31 minutes into the game it was 0-4. The supporters of Oflador FC 2003 booed when Characate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Boniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th match minute, Characate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Montrelle to maneuver through the defense. The Characate FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Boniel made a kick off. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Characate FC played a much better game than Oflador FC 2003 and deserved their victory. The Oflador FC 2003 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
