When Urbano Checa came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Internet XAire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Checa couldn't finish the play. Astor Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Checa in the 7th minute of play. Urbano Checa scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Astor Aureo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Urbano Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 15 minutes, Urbano Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internet XAire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Checa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Messina's Astor Aureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Checa in the 20th minute of play. Urbano Checa scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Astor Aureo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Urbano Checa sped through Deportivo Messina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Astor Aureo. Deportivo Messina's Astor Aureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Checa in the 34th minute of play. Urbano Checa might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Aureo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Checa ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Deportivo Messina's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Checa came free, but Astor Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Internet XAire were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Internet XAire made a substitution. Delmiro Sauveur replaced Urbano Checa. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmiro Sauveur made a kick off. Delmiro Sauveur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Eusko to maneuver through the defense. Delmiro Sauveur kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Internet XAire's Fernan Bermund got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Internet XAire's Baldomiro Enetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Vasco in the 74th minute of play. Modesto Pirmins short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Astor Aureo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fernan Bermund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Aureo having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Internet XAire's Modesto Pirmin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Astor Aureo. Astor Aureo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Astor Aureo had great luck who in the 86thth minute grab hold of the ball when Modesto Pirmin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With his leg Astor Aureo managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Internet XAire's Modesto Pirmin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th minute, Rosendo Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leandro Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Internet XAire eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
