Venancio Pacorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Baldomiro Enetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Iratze struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Baldomiro Enetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Characate FC. Ismael Hunfredo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Urbano Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Cristofol. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Baldomero Cristofol with Venancio Pacorro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Characate FC:s Clemente Rudolfo showed great skill when he stopped Fernan Bermund:s penalty. In the 28th minute, Fernan Bermund made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Rudolfo. Characate FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Baldomiro Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Iratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Jonatan Frechoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Internet XAire made a substitution. Delmiro Sauveur replaced Urbano Checa. After a rather tough play, Internet XAire's Jonatan Frechoso got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 44 played minutes Internet XAire got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Lobo. After the first half Internet XAire were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Michael Ballack made the kick off in the second half. When Delmiro Sauveur came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Internet XAire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Sauveur couldn't finish the play. After having played for 65 minutes, Delmiro Sauveur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internet XAire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Sauveur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Internet XAire made a substitution. Modesto Pirmin replaced Delmiro Sauveur. In the 68th minute, Michael Ballack made a precise shot to the right of Baldomiro Enetz. Internet XAire's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Characate FC's Michael Ballack got a free kick in the 75th minute. Clemente Rudolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Pirmin in the 81st minute of the match. When Modesto Pirmin fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Internet XAire's protests and gave Modesto Pirmin a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Internet XAire got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Pirmin. In the 91st minute Modesto Pirmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Rudolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Internet XAire's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
