The Oflador FC 2003 fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Oflador FC 2003's Nicanor Macerio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 12th minute of the game Benjamin Tirso made a throw-in which Venancio Pacorro played forward. Michael Ballacks short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Esteve Espiridion to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Michael Ballack who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Esteve Espiridion when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Michael Ballack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Michael Ballack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Characate FC's Clemente Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Macerio in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Characate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Gizon to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Nicanor Macerio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Characate FC's Clemente Rudolfo. Clemente Rudolfo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Tirso got free with Esteve Espiridion in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Characate FC booed when Oflador FC 2003 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Videl didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nicanor Macerio came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Oflador FC 2003 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Macerio couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Characate FC's Marciano Eufrasio got a free kick in the 35th minute. Clemente Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Teyo in the 35th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Michael Ballack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Espiridion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes, Lucio Berdoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oflador FC 2003 and the Characate FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Macerio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaime Misael was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. Oflador FC 2003 made a substitution. Leopoldo Florin replaced Fernando Gonzo. Oflador FC 2003:s Esteve Espiridion showed great skill when he stopped Cristian Unai:s penalty. Nicanor Macerio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Clemente Rudolfo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee ignored Characate FC's protests and gave Cleto Gizon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Nicanor Macerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oflador FC 2003 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Esteve Espiridion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Ballack, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Esteve Espiridion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Gora in the 94th minute of play.
