Baron Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grabiel Escorcia went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Grabiel Escorcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juaneizu Merida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rien Oss in the 12th minute of play. The Los Muñes de Don Cuco fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 18 minutes into the game, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juaneizu Merida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Alex Doe made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Iker Losada. After 27th play minutes Grabiel Escorcia shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Baron Buffon and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 35th minute Rien Oss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juaneizu Merida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iker Losada got free with Juaneizu Merida in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th match minute, Los Muñes de Don Cuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Doe to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Los Muñes de Don Cuco defense, Grabiel Escorcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baron Buffon. The Los Muñes de Don Cuco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baron Buffon should have stopped the shot. After the first half Nacional were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grabiel Escorcia to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 52nd minute of play forced Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Baron Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baron Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 63rd minute Grabiel Escorcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baron Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Los Muñes de Don Cuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Dei to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Los Muñes de Don Cuco getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Everardo Dei hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes Los Muñes de Don Cuco got a freekick which was hit by Iker Losada. Juaneizu Merida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Juaneizu Merida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Pero in the 75th minute of the match. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Jacindo in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the game Peyami Hasanbeyli made a throw-in which Ramon Pero played forward. When Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grabiel Escorcia in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baron Buffon saved Los Muñes de Don Cuco from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Grabiel Escorcia in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Pero in the 92nd minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Guaberto Jacindo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Juaneizu Merida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Muñes de Don Cuco fully deserved thier win.
