Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lu Bin Yuan to make the kick off. Oliver Bierhoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvio Bazil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Oliver Bierhoff notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Martin Palermo F.C.'s Silvio Bazil. Silvio Bazil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matías Patrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Giammarino, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Bazil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los Delfines were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Martin Palermo F.C. for a fine match.
