The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Santa Margarita's Enzo Peruxu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Birra Bizarra's Nunez Rodas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Igor Furtado, made in the 5th minute of the game. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Birra Bizarra's goalkeeper Milio Sominaya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Birra Bizarra's Milio Sominaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Birra Bizarra from getting a goal against them. Birra Bizarra's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andréas Hasselqvist 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Rodas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milio Sominaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Santa Margarita's Witomir Pisarczyk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Milio Sominaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Enzo Peruxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Margarita's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Peruxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milio Sominaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andréas Hasselqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Milio Sominaya made a huge save. Milio Sominaya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Witomir Pisarczyk went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Andréas Hasselqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Milio Sominaya having to make a save. 44 minutes into the game, Enzo Peruxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Margarita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birra Bizarra the free kick. After 44 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Peruxu. Birra Bizarra were furious when Reynaldo Roig was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 46th minute, one of Birra Bizarra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Birra Bizarra.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Lordi was the one to do the kick off. Pontus Nordström made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Poncio Zalaeta sent off a good shot on target. Milio Sominaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Mauro Icardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Mauro Icardi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 76th minute Mauro Icardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milio Sominaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Birra Bizarra's goalkeeper Milio Sominaya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mauro Icardi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Milio Sominaya having to make a save. Milio Sominaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Icardi in the 83rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Mauro Icardi sped through Birra Bizarra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Milio Sominaya. Santa Margarita's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
