Nacho González showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Piatek, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zarando Eguizabal got free with Mano Hume in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arkadiusz Piatek in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nacho González saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Astillero del Guayas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fermin Martinez was slow to take the kick. During this time Utopía Muerta FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Fermin Martinez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González did a great save. After 23 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Lima. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Nacho González, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 30 minutes Astillero del Guayas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fermin Martinez who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Utopía Muerta FC's corner Prudencio Ubelteso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nacho González quite easily take care of the ball. The corner ended in Alp Kaya almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González did a great save. Utopía Muerta FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fermin Martinez in the 40th minute. Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Piatek in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Vinström to maneuver through the defense. Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Piatek in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Prudencio Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xaiver Ascarretazabal came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Astillero del Guayas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Utopía Muerta FC were winning 0-1.

54 minutes into the game, Arkadiusz Piatek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nacho González was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60thth minute of the game Arkadiusz Piatek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González got control of the ball when Arkadiusz Piatek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Utopía Muerta FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Astillero del Guayas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fermin Martinez took the corner. Nacho González showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Bermudo in the 84th minute of the match. A hard shot 88 in the game by Braulio Hibai from a close distance when the talented Nacho González managed to make a qualified save. Astillero del Guayas's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Bermudo in the 89th minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Nacho González to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Bermudo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Nacho González didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Utopía Muerta FC.
