The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harald Keane made a kick off. Denílson Magalhães took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matheus Munhoz. Matheus Munhoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 55 minutes into the match, Lindner F.C's goalkeeper Matheus Munhoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denílson Magalhães. With an all-out effort, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Matheus Munhoz threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ralf Albäck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Ralf Albäck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matheus Munhoz was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 58th minute Jeremias Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralf Albäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremias Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. A collision led to Lindner F.C getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dónald Trump hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes Lindner F.C got a freekick which was hit by Victor Tepedino. Matheus Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 78th minute of the match. Deilmison van Basten scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matheus Munhoz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matheus Munhoz came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten. But to his dismay, Deilmison van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Keane in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute Ralf Albäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dónald Trump received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rodriguinho Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ATHLETICO PRaiano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
