In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lindner F.C's goalkeeper Matheus Munhoz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Virgin came free, but Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Valdomiro de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Alfonso in the 44th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bilal Sebuk during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 49th minute, Bilal Sebuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Romando Futebol Clube's Juninho Paulista tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeremias Salles to strike the kick off in the second half. André Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Harald Keane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lindner F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Harald Keane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Valdomiro de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. After 79 minutes Romando Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gelu Roșeanu who took care of the corner kick. After 79 minutes, Jeremias Salles made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Romando Futebol Clube's Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
