In the 14th minute Colombo A.C. were awarded a corner. Lauro Neiva went to the cornerflag to take it. Ricardinho Dantas scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Olejasz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Colombo A.C.'s Ricardinho Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonard Olejasz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonard Olejasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 70 minutes, Ricardinho Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombo A.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
