Gabriel Vinhas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eulalio Montrel having to make a save. Eulalio Montrel made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Gabriel Vinhas sent off a good shot on target. When Pedrinho Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Atlético-PR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. After 9 minutes, Eugênio Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético-PR and the Relyn Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Atlético-PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 13th minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Eulalio Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Pedrinho Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score was now 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Cruz came free, but Gino Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Vinhas got free with Eulalio Montrel in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Eulalio Montrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Vinhas in the 59th minute of the match. Eugênio Azevedo got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Atlético-PR's Eugênio Azevedo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Relyn Futebol Clube's Genaro Valdemoro was substituted for Qu Jun Fan. In the 63rd match minute, Atlético-PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience held their breath when Márcio Cruz in the 93rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Gino Velasco's left hand side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Relyn Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atlético-PR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
