Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fausto da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beila Mora in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute Zhang Yin Si shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hudson Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Bykowski in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Jan Bykowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hudson Gaúcho. Austra 04 VFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Bykowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hudson Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhang Yin Si, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 14 played minutes Austra 04 VFC got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Damião. With a little luck, AFC - Curitiba's Fausto da Rocha got control of the ball when Wellington Pires tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Matouš Carda in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Austra 04 VFC's Douglas Tande. Matouš Carda got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lucjan Setara. Fausto da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sócrates Silva in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC - Curitiba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Douglas Tande was slow to take the kick. During this time Austra 04 VFC's players had a chance to rest. Yaroslav Lyubar made a great header on Austra 04 VFC's corner, it was just that AFC - Curitiba's Fausto da Rocha managed to reach the ball for a save. Hudson Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Bykowski in the 28th minute of play. If Sócrates Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFC - Curitiba's Fausto da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sócrates Silva in the 32nd minute of play. Hudson Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhang Yin Si in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, AFC - Curitiba's goalkeeper Fausto da Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beila Mora. Fausto da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Pires in the 40th minute of play. Tomé Damião hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fausto da Rocha made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Wellington Pires sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by August Wahlnäs in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Austra 04 VFC's Tomé Damião. Fausto da Rocha came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Austra 04 VFC's Wellington Pires. But to his dismay, Wellington Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

AFC - Curitiba's Romário Ortiz was substituted for Zhang Yin Si. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wellington Pires to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers August Wahlnäs in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hudson Gaúcho saved Austra 04 VFC from getting behind. Lucjan Setara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Pires in the 59th minute of the match. Fausto da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sócrates Silva in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Jan Bykowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hudson Gaúcho. Jan Bykowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After some careless play in the AFC - Curitiba defense, Wellington Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto da Rocha. The AFC - Curitiba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto da Rocha should have stopped the shot. Jan Bykowskis short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Hudson Gaúcho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Austra 04 VFC's Hudson Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Bykowski in the 70th minute of play. Matouš Carda made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jan Bykowski however managed to control. Jan Bykowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Hudson Gaúcho made a huge save. In the 74th minute of the match, August Wahlnäs tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hudson Gaúcho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 76 played minutes AFC - Curitiba got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Alvarenga. Douglas Tande, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sócrates Silva scored 3-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto da Rocha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to AFC - Curitiba getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Romário Ortiz hit a great ball. Fausto da Rocha came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Austra 04 VFC's Sócrates Silva. But to his dismay, Sócrates Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. When Austra 04 VFC's Wellington Pires in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC - Curitiba's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Asier in the 91st minute of play forced Austra 04 VFC's goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson Gaúcho was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Romário Ortiz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romário Ortiz really showed his touch with that goal: 4-4. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
